The Office of Instructional Technology offers a few different ways to deliver course assignments and assessments to students via Canvas and convenient integrations. The Canvas Assignments tool is our basic assignment option while TurnItIn, Lexis Learn, and PowerNotes allow for different features and uses. For assessments, Canvas offers the New Quizzes tool.
Important note: Canvas Assignments or Quizzes cannot be created or submitted outside of the Law School's term dates. Courses in Canvas are bound to a term, which are based on university term dates in Banner.
Students and instructors are only able to interact with a course while the term is active; once the term ends, the Canvas course sites for that term enter a read only mode.
