Bloomberg Law, Lexis +, and Westlaw Precision

These large research systems are used in practice law.  As a law student you have accounts to use these systems for learning purposes.  Throughout the year training opportunities will be announced as well as opportunities to build your research skills and earn certifications.

How Do I Access These Research Systems?

You will receive an email to your @law email on August 15, 2024 with registration codes and instructions for registering for an account with each of these services.  The email will be from Jacob Burns Law Library with the subject 'Registration Information for Library Research Accounts’.  Any questions about these accounts can be directed to the Law Library at electronicservices@law.gwu.libanswers.com

Library Subscriptions

Many legal education resources that have traditionally been available only in print are now available online. The Law Library subscribes to the Aspen Learning Library and the LexisNexis Digital Library.   These resources are available to the GW Law community and require your Law email and password for access.  You can visit https://law.gwu.libguides.com/eCollection/eStudyAids for more information.
