Access Event Recordings

Event recordings using our automated classroom recording system are not automatically made accessible to GW Law faculty, staff, and students. Requests for the recordings need to be made to media@law.gwu.edu after the event occurs.

Please review the various ways we can share recording files with you to determine which will work best for your specific use case. 

GW Law faculty, staff, and students have the option for files to be uploaded to YouTube for more convenient public sharing. The Media Center will upload the file as an unlisted link, allowing anyone with the link to view the recording, while remaining unsearchable on the platform. 

1. Email media@law.gwu.edu to request the recording and specify how you would like a YouTube link. Please include event title and date in your email request. 
    
2. The Media Center will respond with a YouTube link once the file has been uploaded and processed. 
    
3. Click on the link in the email to view.
    
4. Copy the link to share with others.
