Zoom for Meetings & Events

Using Zoom at Law School Events

GW Law School supports the utilization of Zoom for all virtual or hybrid events and meetings. Our audiovisual (AV) infrastructure seamlessly integrates with Zoom, enabling us to transmit audio and video from our system to remote participants. Nearly all Law School classrooms and event spaces are equipped to accommodate Zoom, with a few exceptions.

If your event necessitates the use of Zoom, we recommend confirming the Zoom capability of your reserved room by consulting our Room Technology List

GW Law Zoom Accounts

All GW Law faculty, students, and some staff have a licensed GW Law Zoom account. Your GW Law Zoom account uses your GW Law email account for authentication. Desktop client installation is required to access all of Zooms features. All Law classroom computers have the Zoom app installed already. Please follow these instructions to install and access the app on your personal or office device.

  1. Go to law-gwu-edu.zoom.us/download
  2. Download the app.
  3. Choose Sign in with SSO. Ignore the username/password text boxes.
  4. In the text box type law-gwu-edu
  5. On the next screen, input your university UserID and password.
