Communicating with Students

Google Groups

Google Groups can be used to email the entire class a message directly to their @law email accounts or to create Google Calendar invites for the class.

The Google Groups email format is your coursenumber-sectionnumber_semesterabbreviationyear@law.gwu.edu.

For example:

9999-10_fa23@law.gwu.edu for Fall 2023 semester

9999-10_sp24@law.gwu.edu for Spring 2024 semester

Sending an Email with Google Groups

1. In your @law email account, click the Compose button.

2. Input the Google Group email address into the "To" field@law email Compose message screen with the Google Group email address in the To box.

 

3. Type in your email content.

 

4. Click the blue Send button.
