Constitutional Law

About Constitutional Law

"Understanding constitutional law is an ambitious undertaking. The subject is complex and can be viewed from many different angles. An effort to understand the subject may appropriately consider the constitutional text, the events and arguments leading to its drafting and ratification, the principles it reflects, its operation in practice, the interaction of the various institutions it created, the rules, principles and doctrines which are known as constitutional law, and the nature and relative capabilities of the various institutions that may have occasion to interpret the Constitution." (From Understanding Constitutional Law.)
