"Find, review, and submit comments on Federal rules that are open for comment and published in the Federal Register." Regulations.gov launched in January 2003 in order to provide the public access to federal regulatory content. Users can search all publicly available regulatory materials, submit a comment on a regulation or on another comment, submit an application or adjudication document, download agencies' regulatory materials, and sign up for email alerts about specific regulations.
"The new Regulations.gov is a re-envisioning of classic Regulations.gov, with enhanced search capabilities, a simplified commenting process, and an interface that adapts to various screen sizes for mobile devices. It gained official status on February 18, 2021 after the beta testing period since July 2019."
