Interlibrary Loan & CLS

If our library doesn't have the book you need, borrow through the Consortium Loan Service (CLS), available through your Jacob account.  

If you need an article or a book that is not available through the Consortium Loan Service, request it through our interlibrary loan service.

Scanning at the Burns Law Library

Scanners are located on the Stockton Cellar level.  Scanned jobs may be downloaded to a USB drive, sent to your @law.gwu.edu or other email address, or captured by your smartphone or tablet computer.  There is no charge for scanning.   

Notice: The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, U.S. Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material; the person using library equipment is liable for any infringement.

GW Printing

Printing is available through GW Printing services, with several payment optionsLocations for the printer kiosks are: 

  • First Floor of Law Library
    • Alcove (behind door guard station)
    • Reference Commons
  • Second Floor of Stockton by Copy Center (outside of Law Library)
  • The Law Learning Center (LLC) Lobby  

GW Printing is a cloud-based, wireless printing service enabling you to print from anywhere on or off campus, and even from your smartphone or tablet. Simply send your print job to the cloud and visit any kiosk on campus to print your document.
